Columbia University's Electrical Engineering Department has world-class faculty involved in cutting-edge research. The Department’s small size allows highly individualized attention to our PhD students. Our compact campus produces interdisciplinary interactions on a scale unmatched by anyone.
The Department invites college seniors from select undergraduate institutions to a special open house event. At this event, you will have the opportunity to meet our faculty and graduate students and learn about the exciting opportunities Columbia has to offer. You will also have a chance to sample life in New York City, one of the most dynamic and diverse metropolises in the world.
Complete the Prospective Student Open House Application to attend this event. Applications must be received by October 30, 2017 and students will be notified by November 2nd. Applicants are encouraged to visit the department’s website. Students selected will be provided with a stipend of $250.00 to cover travel expenses and will be provided one night’s hotel accommodation, which can be used the night before or the night of the recruiting day event.
